You need an eligible work account, proof of your current work mailbox, and manual owner approval. A valid email address or provider login does not grant access by itself. pending means the decision is still outstanding; do not try to bypass it with a dashboard token.
In the private environment, your client also needs an owner-approved network path to the server. Hosted Claude and ChatGPT do not automatically reach a private network. Do not publish the server or create a tunnel as a workaround.
Open the Claude, ChatGPT, and Claude Code guide. Use only the path confirmed for your own plan and workspace. If the client or workspace administrator does not make remote MCP available, stop there.
You can give a configuration agent this prompt. It is designed for a safe, idempotent setup and requires your participation in OAuth:
https://tobyhired.com/agent-setup/prompt.md
Open the setup prompt. The canonical URL is a static code asset; it does not mean a public deployment exists yet.
After you complete OAuth, ask the client to initialize and list tools. Only after current access is confirmed may it make one permitted synthetic read. A bad URL, missing OAuth resource, pending approval, or absent tool list is not setup success — record the exact message and contact the access owner.
